last night…
i got to catch up and see my best friends from high school. we’re still close as ever and to think we’ve been friends since 5th grade insane, huh? no doubt, we know each other so well and one of them, after updating her on my life, brought up my commitment issues. yeah, i do have commitment issues when relationships do not always go as planned. i’m not sure if it is because i’ve been screwed over so many times or i do it to other guys, but it shows how much it is not on the top of my priority list. i hate having hope for something and then be disappointed. you can say i hate taking chances and i need to change that mentality. easier said than done. my friend says, “elyssa, as long as i’ve known you, you have always had this issue. why are you so afraid?”

just got notified i didn’t get the eyewear internship position :(
but they never notified me about the product development position.
the position i really want.
this has to be good news….hopefully.
